Meet the Summer Soap Collection: Stone & Sea Glass & Summer Trellis

Every seasonal soap collection begins with a feeling.

Sometimes it's a memory. Sometimes it's a place. More often, it's a moment that lingers long after it has passed.

This summer, I found myself returning to two very different scenes. One was a quiet stretch of rocky coastline in the early morning, where cool sea air mingles with weathered stone and driftwood before the fog has fully lifted. The other was a flourishing summer garden overflowing with herbs and greenery, warmed by the afternoon sun and gently swaying in the breeze.

Those moments became the inspiration for our newest handcrafted soaps: Stone & Sea Glass and Summer Trellis.

Stone & Sea Glass

Stone & Sea Glass was inspired by the calm, grounding feeling of being near the ocean.

Not a tropical beach, but the kind of coastline where the landscape feels rugged and timeless. The scent opens with fresh rosemary and grapefruit before settling into deeper notes of cedarwood, cypress, black pepper, and smoky frankincense.

It's fresh without being bright, earthy without feeling heavy, and carries a subtle mineral quality that reminds me of smooth stones gathered along the shore.

To complement the coastal inspiration, I incorporated bentonite clay and activated charcoal into the recipe. Together they create the soap's moody appearance while contributing to the silky, mineral-rich feel of the lather.

Summer Trellis

If Stone & Sea Glass represents the coast, Summer Trellis represents the garden.

This soap was inspired by climbing vines, weathered wooden trellises, fresh herbs growing in abundance, and the unmistakable scent of summer greenery warmed by the sun.

Basil and grapefruit create a bright opening before giving way to rosemary, sage, cedarwood, cypress, petitgrain, and black pepper. The result is fresh, green, and botanical without becoming overly floral or sweet.

French green clay gives the bar its beautiful natural color and contributes to the smooth, creamy feel that makes this soap such a pleasure to use.

Crafted for Everyday Rituals

While the scents tell the story of summer, the heart of every bar is the same commitment to gentle, nourishing skincare.

Both soaps are handcrafted in small batches using a rich blend of rice bran, sunflower, and coconut oils alongside fair-trade shea butter and cocoa butter. Together these ingredients create a creamy, luxurious lather that cleanses without leaving skin feeling stripped or dry.

As always, our soaps are vegan, palm-free, and scented exclusively with pure essential oils.

Because these two soaps were designed to complement one another, we also created the Summer Escape Soap Set.
